Khan was charged for killing a homeless man in 2002 in a hit-and-run accident.
Khan had said his driver was behind the wheel, but the judge said the actor was driving the car and was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
“You were driving the car; you were under the influence of alcohol,” judge DW Deshpande told the actor as soon as the court proceedings began.
Khan is one of Bollywood biggest stars, having appeared in over 80 films.
