Andrew Rannells Has His Own Term for "Dad Bods"

Everyone is talking about dad bods — those softer, less-defined male physiques — and Andrew Rannells is well aware of it. "It's a thing," he told Cosmopolitan.com at a party for Darren Criss, hosted by Christian Louboutin and Bergdorf Goodman.

Only he's been using a different expression. "I refer to that look as 'Saturday dad,'" he said. "I'm a little offended my term didn't catch on." In fairness, his term sounds more like a description of a man's style than his body. "[It] means more, like, casual dad," he says.

The real question, then, is whether Rannells thinks dad bods are hot. "I'm open," he says, repeating himself for good measure. "I'm not going to make any judgments right now."

Because in case you forget: "It's where we're all headed, folks."
